Policies and Procedures

1. HOURS OF OPERATION

We want to provide you flexible hours to schedule your treatments, including the weekends. Usually we have availability between 11am and 7pm. We ask you to schedule your service one or two days ahead of time to be able to meet your needs.

2. CANCELATION POLICY

You may reschedule or cancel your appointment with a 24 hour notice. There's a $30.00 fee for appointments that are not cancelled or rescheduled.

3. FEES

We want you to focus on how you can maximize the therapist's knowledge and experience, so you pay for the time of treatment and there are no additional charges for products or specialty services.

4. CONSULTATION

The therapist will conduct a consultation before each service is provided. The information provided by a massage therapist is for educational purposes only and does not substitute a medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

5. TALKING DURING A SESSION

The desired outcome of massage therapy or reflexology services is relaxation. Providing your feedback about the pressure and comfort level is very important to us and our therapists are required to ask about them. You are welcome to ask any questions related to the massage therapy, techniques selected and the effects of the treatment.

6. CONFIDENTIALITY OF CLIENT INFORMATION

All and any information about the client is confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party. Massage therapists in the state of Florida are required to follow the HIPAA law.

7. PRIVACY OF CLIENT FOR UNDRESSING AND DRAPING DURING A SESSION

Each client will be provided privacy during the undressing before a massage service and dressing after the service. The client will be asked to remove the clothing to their comfort level. The therapists are required to properly drape the client during a treatment and only the body part that is being worked can be undraped.

8. SEXUAL MISCONDUCT

Any sexual request, comment, gesture or act is strictly prohibited. The therapists have the right to end the session if this is not respected. The client will be responsible for the payment of the full session time and will not be allowed to schedule any future treatment.

9. PAYMENT POLICY

Your Wellness Time accepts cash and all major credit cards payments. You will be asked to present a valid identification document at the time of payment. If your credit card turns out to be fraudulent, even though the payment was received initially, you will be responsible for the payment of the service fees. Your Wellness Time is not accepting any insurance reimbursements at this time; you may however fill and submit your claim. Ask your therapist about this procedure.
